How does it work?

Simply! But first of all, we have to come to an agreement. Contact us via contact form or by phone. You describe your problem and your expectations. You will then receive a statement from us on how we are doing in terms of time and when you could send the boat. Then you pack the boat and send it or bring it personally to Šiah. We will diagnose your boat for free. You will be contacted with a quote. If we pat ourselves on the back, we will repair the boat and send it back to you. If not, then it cost you one postage to us, one back, but at least you'll know what you're in for.

Which boats can we repair?

Basically they are cargo boats on this website or other compact boats (Flytec, Uruav, Panzer...)

How long will it take?

It is very dependent on the problem, the availability of parts and the current number of requests. We are able to turn around most boats within 10 working days, but it always depends on the case. We can provide you with a more accurate estimate after you contact us.

How much will it cost me?

First of all, you have to take into account that you need to somehow transport the boat to us and pick it up after the repair. The shipping costs there and back are approximately €10 (depending on the selected carrier and the method of transport) and you will pay them even if you decide that you do not need repairs or that the boat is beyond repair. Diagnostics is free. The price of the transport itself depends on the complexity of the operation and the price of the part. You can check the prices of parts on our website website . These prices are always communicated in advance and it is up to you whether it is acceptable to you or not. The boat will not be repaired without your consent. So it cannot happen that you would be unpleasantly surprised afterwards. However, for a better picture, the price of the work is €15 for a maintenance operation or a simple replacement of a component. However, this price can be increased to €25 if the given component needs to be tested on water (e.g. GPS control panels).

Is it even worth it?

This also varies from case to case. Always keep in mind the price of a new boat before making a decision. In principle, it is worth repairing a boat where 1-2 faulty components need to be repaired or replaced. In most cases, new control panels can be paired with old controllers and vice versa. But it doesn't have to be a rule. If it is necessary to change e.g. both the control panel and the controller, because some new component would not pair with the old one, it may not be profitable. In any case, it is good to at least be informed.

My boat is working, but I would like to have it serviced. Can I address this to the Yukon Grizzly?

Yes, you should even have a hundred. Every boat needs maintenance from time to time. A good time is the end of the season, but basically anytime. Regular maintenance extends the life of the boat and helps prevent permanent damage. But that's probably not news :)

I would like a sonar or GPS for my boat. Can it be done?

Sonar usually does. We are currently working on this type, but if you would specifically like a different one, maybe we can come to an agreement. As for GPS, it's a bit more complicated. If there is a model of your boat with GPS but you don't have it, we can probably install it there for you. Otherwise, it is different from case to case.

I would like to tune my boat. Can it be done?

It certainly does, but it comes at a price. However, the price of tuning can double the price of the boat. Namely, it is not enough to change motors for more power. Larger motors need more powerful control circuits. They, in turn, have a stronger flashlight, or a new receiver and transmitter. In any case, it is possible, but it is not always worth it. If you are interested in a really strong boat, try looking around this one .

  • Type of boat (if you are not sure about the model, try sending a photo or link)
  • Description of the error (e.g. the motors don't turn, I can't turn on the controller), in the description, try to focus on when the error occurs (e.g. constantly, only on water, after swimming 70 m, sporadically). Accurate description helps diagnosis.
  • Approximate age of the boat
  • Would you like to deal with it in person but by mail?

You will then be contacted back and we will guide you through the entire process.
